These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HookFlow website (xrplhookflow.com) and any products or services provided by Sulphurtech International Services Ltd. ("we", "us", "our", or "HookFlow"). By using our website, purchasing our products, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. About HookFlow
HookFlow is a product of Sulphurtech International Services Ltd., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
We offer a library of smart contract hooks ("Hooks") that install on Xahau (and, in future, XRPL) network accounts. Hooks are pieces of code that run inside the Xahau validator consensus to extend wallet-level behaviour.
We offer three tiers of service:
- Free tier — all Hooks published on GitHub under the MIT licence, for self-installation
- Standard tier — we configure and deliver a Hook with your parameters, plus documentation and email support, for 100 XRP per Hook (with multi-Hook discounts)
- Pro / White-Label tier — custom Hook logic or full library deployments, starting at 500 XRP
2. Your eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Not be located in, or a citizen of, any country subject to comprehensive sanctions by Canada, the United States, the European Union, or the United Nations
- Not use our services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
3. What you are paying for
When you purchase a Standard or Pro tier product, you are paying for:
- Our service of configuring the Hook with your specified parameters
- Pre-compilation of the Hook to WebAssembly
- Delivery of files and documentation (installation guide PDF, source .c file, compiled .wasm file)
- Email support during your installation
- A 30-day bug fix guarantee, as described in Section 7
You are not paying for:
- The Hook source code itself (which is freely available on GitHub under MIT licence)
- Network fees (which are paid to Xahau, not us)
- Your wallet, XAH, or any cryptocurrency (you must acquire these separately)
- Ongoing maintenance beyond the 30-day bug fix guarantee (available on request, not included by default)
4. Payments
Accepted payment methods
We accept XRP (on the XRP Ledger or Xahau) as the sole payment method for our services. The exact wallet address for payment will be provided in your purchase confirmation email.
Pricing
- Standard tier: 100 XRP per Hook
- Multi-Hook discount: 80 XRP per Hook when purchasing 3 or more at once
- Pro / White-Label tier: custom quote starting at 500 XRP
Prices are listed in XRP, not fiat currency. XRP's fiat value fluctuates, and you are responsible for any difference between the quoted XRP amount and its fiat equivalent at the time of payment.
Confirmation of payment
Services are initiated only after we confirm receipt of your full payment on-chain. Cancellations requested after you have sent payment are subject to the refund policy in Section 8.
5. Delivery
Timing
We aim to deliver Standard tier products within 48 hours of confirmed payment and complete intake (receipt of all configuration parameters from you). Pro tier delivery timelines are agreed in your quote.
What we deliver
For Standard tier:
- Your configured Hook source (.c file)
- Your compiled Hook binary (.wasm file)
- A 12-page branded installation guide (PDF)
- Email support during setup
For Pro tier: as specified in your quote.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate configuration parameters (wallet addresses, percentages, limits, etc.)
- Installing the Hook on your own wallet
- Funding your wallet with sufficient XAH to operate the Hook
- Maintaining custody of your wallet keys (we never have access)
- Following the installation guide we provide
6. Your data and your wallet
We never have access to your private keys, wallet seed, or recovery phrase. We will never ask you for these. Anyone claiming to be from HookFlow and asking for these credentials is a scammer.
For configuration purposes we only need:
- Your public wallet address (the "r..." string)
- Any parameters you want baked into the Hook (destination addresses, percentages, etc.)
You retain full custody and control of your wallet at all times. We are not a custodial service.
7. Bug fix guarantee
Every Standard and Pro tier purchase includes a 30-day bug fix guarantee, starting from the date we deliver your files. During this period:
- If the Hook does not function as described in its documentation, we will investigate and fix it at no additional cost
- If we cannot fix the issue within a reasonable time, we will issue a refund (see Section 8)
- The guarantee covers functional bugs, not changes in how Xahau operates or changes you want to make to your configuration
Past 30 days, bug fixes are provided on a best-effort basis and may incur additional fees.
8. Refund policy
All sales are final once files have been delivered. Given the digital nature of our products and the fact that you receive the source code (which cannot be "returned"), we do not offer refunds after delivery.
The only exception is the bug fix guarantee described in Section 7: if we cannot resolve a functional bug within a reasonable time during the 30-day guarantee period, you are entitled to a full refund of what you paid us.
Refunds are issued in XRP to the wallet address that sent the original payment, at the same XRP amount paid (not adjusted for fiat-value changes).
Network fees paid to Xahau are never refundable by us, as they are paid to the network validators, not to HookFlow.
9. Intellectual property
Our code
All HookFlow Hook source code is published on GitHub under the MIT License, which grants you extensive rights to use, modify, and redistribute the code. See the LICENSE file in our repository for details.
Our brand
The HookFlow name, logo, website design, and documentation (including the installation guide PDF, FAQ, and email templates) are the intellectual property of Sulphurtech International Services Ltd. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute these materials without our written permission.
Your configuration
The specific parameters you provide us (wallet addresses, percentages, signer lists, etc.) remain your property. By providing them to us, you grant us a limited licence to use them solely for configuring and delivering your Hook.
10. Warranties and limitations
What we guarantee
- Our Hooks have been tested on Xahau testnet with the test results published publicly on GitHub
- Our Hooks are functional and suitable for their described purposes, subject to the bug fix guarantee in Section 7
- We will deliver the files you paid for within the timelines described
What we do not guarantee
- We do not guarantee that Xahau or XRPL networks will remain operational, stable, or uncompromised
- We do not guarantee any financial outcome or return for you using our Hooks
- We do not guarantee that Hooks will work indefinitely — network amendments, upgrades, or forks may affect functionality
- We do not guarantee continuous availability of our website or support email
"As is" disclaimer
Except where expressly stated in these Terms, our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or service in question
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities)
- We are not liable for losses caused by: your own actions (including mistakes, loss of keys, or misuse), third-party actions (including hackers, exchanges, or wallet providers), network failures of Xahau or XRPL, changes in cryptocurrency value, or events outside our reasonable control
Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Cryptocurrency risks
You acknowledge that:
- Cryptocurrency values are highly volatile
- On-chain transactions are irreversible — mistakes cannot be undone
- Loss of wallet keys or recovery phrases results in permanent loss of access to funds
- Regulatory treatment of cryptocurrency varies by jurisdiction and may change
- Blockchain networks can be attacked, forked, or become unavailable
- Hooks add logic to your wallet — while tested, any code can have bugs or edge cases we did not anticipate
By using HookFlow, you accept these risks.
13. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use HookFlow for any illegal activity including money laundering, sanctions evasion, or fraud
- Use HookFlow to interact with sanctioned wallets or accounts
- Misrepresent yourself to us or provide false configuration parameters
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise our systems
- Use HookFlow's name, branding, or materials in a misleading way
- Violate applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
Violation of this section is grounds for immediate termination of service without refund.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate your access to HookFlow, at any time, for any reason consistent with these Terms. In particular:
- We may refuse a request that appears to enable illegal activity
- We may cease supporting a specific Hook if it becomes technically unviable
- We may terminate support for customers who violate these Terms
If we terminate your service through no fault of your own, we will refund any portion of your payment for undelivered services.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes we will also attempt to notify existing customers by email. Continued use of the website or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not accept updated Terms, you must stop using our services. Previously delivered products remain yours under the Terms in effect at the time of purchase.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services will be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada. You and HookFlow agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before starting formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by email to hello@xrplhookflow.com, with at least 30 days to reach agreement.
17. Miscellaneous
Severability — if any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
No waiver — our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Entire agreement — these Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the complete agreement between you and us regarding HookFlow, superseding any prior understanding.
Assignment — you may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a sale, merger, or reorganisation of Sulphurtech International Services Ltd.
